Elections were held in College in October to determine the 2020 House Committee.
We are proud of our elected students, and look forward to introducing them to our broader community.
Adele Burke is our incoming Hon Secretary; here she speaks to us about her vision for next year.

What I am most looking forward to in 2020 at College: The potential of a fresher cohort of nearly 200 students is really exciting. It means greater diversity in the hallways, greater talent in our Rawson, Rosebowl, Palladian and academic efforts, and a whole bunch of new people to meet and converse with in the Dining Hall. And yes, of course, seeing the results of a busy (and quite loud) year of construction in 2019 will be very nice too!
What I hope to achieve as Hon Secretary in 2020: At the very least, I look forward to keeping the Students’ Club organised – creating a fair room draw, accurate calendar and consistent communication. Further to this though, as part of the Executive, and an extremely capable House Committee, I look forward to continuing the work of the 2019 leadership team, to work out how our College can do justice to 150 years of history by taking it into a contemporary setting, and creating a safe environment there.
Advice for 2020 freshers: Have high expectations of yourself and your time at Drew’s, and then be inspired by the people around you, and exceed those expectations. Also, call home three times as often as you think is necessary!
